The Miss Linell Memorial Inter School Hindi Debate was held on 15th April, 2008. Apoorva Kuthiala, Mudita Pandey and Nazuk Bhasin represented our school.14 teams participated from all over India.The results for the debate were as follows:

The Eureka Quiz was held at our school on 14th April, 2008. Muskan Goyal, Karishma Dandona and Samriddhi Gupta represented our school.12 teams participated from all over India. The results were as follows:

The Saroj Srivastava Inter School English Debate

The Saroj Srivastava Inter School English Debate was held at our school from 14th-15th April, 2008. Our team qualified into the coalition round. Vasudha Thirani, Yusra Rahman and Ritwika Sen represented our school in the debate.The results of the debate were as follows:

Simply Art by Simpu Singh

The art department organised a G.E.P.for the whole school on the 2nd of march,2008. The evening program consisted of a short play with the use of puppets, an audio-visual presentation and a talk on various artists like Vincent Van Gogh,Leonardo Da Vinci etc and various forms of art including installations, modern art and op art.Few teachers were also given the opportunity to express themselves on the canvas.The school was also informed about and invited to join a new art club open to all. 

School Birthday

The school celebrated its 51st birthday on 16th February, 2008. The school officials and captains for the year 2008-09 were announced and the investiture ceremony took place the same evening.

Basant Panchami Pooja

On the occasion of BASANT PANCHAMI ,11th of February ,a prayer meeting was held in the loving memory of Miss Saroj Srivastava who passed away towards the end of January.Apart from the students and the staff a few of the old staff was also present.Mrs. Shanti Verma and Mrs. Mathur narrated a few incidents of her life as well.

DDCSA Basketball Tournament

The DDCSA Basketball Tournament was hosted by our school from 12th -17th November.8 teams participated and we won the tournament.

62nd Dehradun District Athletic Meet

The 62nd Dehradun District Athletic Meet was held from 3rd-4th November, 2007 at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur . Our team won the tournament. We won ninety five medals in all. Vedika Jhunjhunwala and Rhea Bakshi won the best athlete award in the 'G' and 'Y' section. our team stood first in the G, H and Y sections.

Frank Anthony Inter School Fixed Five Basketball Tournament

The Frank Anthony Inter School Fixed Five Basketball Tournament was held from 5th-9th October, 2007 at The Hilton School Dehradun. Our team won the tournament. Ritika Kalra was te captain of the team and Shivika Gupta was adjudged the most promising player of the tournament.

Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Inter-School Hindi Debate

The Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia Memorial Inter-School Hindi Debate was held at The Scindia Boys' School, Gwalior on 30th September, 2007. Our team won the first position. Nitika Khanna, Mudita Pandey and

World Karate Championship Trials

World Karate Federation Championship trials were held at Chennai on the 8th September. Five welhamites went for the trials and Deepika Jain has been selected to represent India at the World Championships to be held in Istanbul, Turkey.
