Huun-Huur-Tu, a world-renowned music group from the Republic of Tuva (on the Russian-Mongolian border) performed for the staff and students at Welham on 6th Feb. Their “throat singing", a unique form of singing indigenous to the Russian-Mongolian regions, left the audience spellbound. The event was brought to school by The Tender Roots Academy of Performing Arts, an organization that has been involved in bringing a number of international artists for enriching lecture-demonstrations and sessions for school students in India.
