 The Karate team has been involved in a series of tournaments this year. We took part in the All India Karate Championship, winning a total of eighteen medals including one gold, nine silver and eight bronze medals. Pooja Batra, Khushboo Rastogi, Pallavi Singh, Bhairvi Tandon and Sanya agarwal were awarded black belts in the Karate grading. In the fourth Dehradun District Karate Championship, the team won a total of twenty-four medals including nine gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals. Pooja Batra and Pallavi Singh were selected for the Asian Games 2010 trials.
Rhea Palak Bakshi represented India in the Commonwealth Karate Championship in Edinburgh, Scotland and in Greece.
