The Karate team yet again has outdone itself in a series of tournaments this year. Our girls were part of the Uttarakhand State team and they participated in the Karate National Championship held in Erode (Chennai), where Srishti Prasad secured the third position in Individual Kata (Under 11 years) and Yagya Chadha came second in Individual Kumite (Under 14 years). Rhea Palak Bakshi, Padmawati Jain, Roopali Lakhotia, Richa Neog and Yagya Chadha were awarded the A.I.K.F. Black belts.

The team further glorified itself in the 5th Dehradun District Karate Championship. In the State Karate Championship, the team won a total of 15 medals.

The Karate team endeavors for greater progress in the future.
