![]() The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, an all-India Board. The School has classes from V to XII. The academic year begins in early April. English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi holds a place of very high importance in the curriculum, and every effort is made to ensure that each girl reaches a high standard in the language. A Third Language is taught in the Middle-School, for which an option between Sanskrit, Punjabi, Bengali and Urdu is available. Students may also opt for French at the ISC level, although this choice is available primarily to girls who have a previous knowledge of the language. For the class X ICSE Examination the School is able to offer a wide choice of discipline options. Apart from the compulsory subjects which include English, Hindi, Social Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics and Science, students are required to select at least one skill-based subject for the Council Examinations. Choices include Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Yoga, Music (vocal and instrumental), Computer Applications, Home Science and Art. For the Class XII ISC examination, the school offers all three streams - Science, Humanities and Commerce. Additional subjects available from class XI, apart from those already offered up to class X, include Psychology, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Computer Science and Elective Literature. |
