Meetings are regularly held, programmes presented, and inter-house, inter-class and inter-School competitions organized. The All-India Inter-School English and Hindi extempore debates are a regular annual feature, as is the inter-school One-Act Play Festival, the All-India Inter-School Science and Nature Quiz, and several other events. Students are often escorted to cultural programmes and sent to represent the School in co-curricular fixtures hosted by other schools both in and out of Dehradun. Occasionally, professional dancers and vocalists, ceramic artists, painters, craftsmen, drama directors and photographers are invited on a short-term basis to conduct workshops for the students, some under the aegis of SPICMACAY. |
