Adventure sports form an important part of the School curriculum. The School is able to take advantage of its splendid location in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas and arrange treks, camps, skiing, white-water rafting, cycling and so on for the students.

The girls are taken for mid-term trips, which last for up to a week; they invariably return exhilarated by their experience and by the beauty of the snow-capped mountains and turbulent rivers of this region.

Once a year, a summer trek is arranged to places deeper in the mountains for the benefit of those girls who wish to participate in a serious trek. The planning and execution of the trek is the responsibility of the girls themselves, advised by a Staff coordinator.

A number of girls have successfully completed the Basic Adventure Course conducted by the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi.
