Every year after the Final Examinations get over in March, the school breaks for a few days and the students go for excursions and treks. The midterms are educational trips and they are arranged primarily with the objective of inculcating in the girls an appreciation of heritage and culture and respect for the environment.

Students trek mainly in the hilly regions developing an awareness of their surroundings that are historically and geographically important. The midterms are eagerly awaited and the students enjoy themselves immensely. Over the years, students have visited places like Bhimtal, Rajasthan, Goa, Jim Corbett National Park, Gangotri, Ranthambore, Dharamshala, Uttarkashi, Agra, Sanchi and many other places. The spirit of co-operation, community-living and independence are imbibed by the girls during the course of the mid-term break.
