It gives me great pride to say that this term flycatchers have truly lived up to the house motto- “Determination Brings Success.” The house has performed really well this term. It has been an eventful but successful term.

The inter-house music and dance competition held in April is one of the most exciting events of the year. The juniors and seniors work together for the house. This year all the late-night practices and hard work bore fruit and Flycatchers gave outstanding performances in music as well as dance. We stood first in Sitar, Indian choir, Kathak and Bharatnatyam and secured positions in other events as well. Overall too the house stood first in music and dance this year.

The games captain, Sunaina Das and the school captain Richa Gupta both belong to Flycatcher house. In the recently announced ISC and ICSE board examinations as well, Flycatchers have performed really well. The house has excelled in other spheres as well. Girls have done well in quizzing, multimedia and craft. Girls have also represented the school in basketball.

Through the term all the girls have worked with dedication. Being a Flycatcher is about believing in fair-play, hard-work and giving in one's 100% in everything.

As a captain working with the house and both the senior house mistress, Mrs. Vasudev and the junior HM, Mrs. Phoolka has been a privilege.

I would like to congratulate all the Flycatchers for this amazing term.
