Akin to a young bird making its first flight, Orioles have had their ups and downs but are now on the steady (if not speedy) rise. The tremendous performance put up by the Orioles in the sports field won us a great acclaim.We were the winners of the Senior Athletic Cup (with Best Athlete awards in two sections being awarded to Samedhika Datt, Shriya Gupta and Sabrina Sidhu). The highest goal trophy (hockey) and an overall second in sports has added to the confidence of the yellows. Showing exemplary determination in the co-curriculars, Orioles have been true to their motto – Parishram hi safalta ki kunji hai (Hard work is the key to success).
The house mistresses, Mrs. Kusum Dandona and Mrs. Arundhati Shukla, have proudly sent two girls(Tanya Malik and Shriya Gupta) for the exchange programme this year to Milfield School . The recently renovated, luxurious senior Oriole dormitories have resulted in all other houses visiting us too often! The zeal and “never give up” sprit of the Orioles cannot be mirrored by anyone else. Being a part of this house is an honour.
