The past year has been an incredible one for the Woodpecker House. Every girl has put in tremendous effort and hardwork and has contributed immensely to the success of the house. It is common knowledge that a place in the sun comes with a few blisters and the Woodpeckers have gone and put their best foot forward in all the events oblivious of all obstacles.

The girls have represented the school in numerous events such as the Model United Nations, various IPSC meets and also various inter school debates. Aryashree Kunyambhu, from the junior most class got a chance to go to South Africa to lead the Indian Cricket Team onto the field. She was selected on the basis of her immense talent in playing sitar. Also, Gargi Dangwal and Somya Batta represented the school in an exchange programme between Millfield School, England and Welham.

Every girl has contributed to the house in her own way and that is clearly visible in the results of the Inter-House Competitions. We successfully maintained our four year record of winning the Music and Dance Competition.

Woodpeckers have proven their worth in every field in school by winning The Ace House Cup, thus living upto our house motto- "EXCELSIOR".
