We are a year older! The whole school celebrated the 63rd school birthday on 1st February with the same joy and enthusiasm it does every year. The day held special meaning for the nominee student body as the Captain, Sports Captain, House-Captains and School Officials for 2020-21 was announced. In the evening, the solemn Investiture ceremony brought both smiles and tears as the outgoing class lit the candle for the incoming SC class. Dr. Gunmeet Bindra, Principal, Welham Boys’ School, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. She spoke to the new Captains and addressed the audience. She said that leadership comes from example and a leader must have integrity and strive to win the respect of people. She also applauded the school for the wonderful ceremony which brought her memories as the school captain back.
