A fun and educational Tree Walk was conducted for the grade 7 students to provide them with an opportunity to connect with nature in a meaningful way. Students learnt facts, stories and ecological roles of trees that are an integral part of the campus. Special highlight of the day were some iconic trees like the mythological Sita Ashoka, the blooming Kachnar, the fig tree, Monkey-nut tree, the Bakul, Arjun Tree, The Chir Pine, The powder-puff tree, the Jakaranda and the soapnut tree. Students also learnt a fun way to calculate the height of a tree.
