A group of 42 Class VIII students had the opportunity to visit the historic city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra and included visits to two of India's most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Ajanta Caves and the Ellora Caves. The group also visited the Daulatabad Fort, renowned for its strategic significance and architectural brilliance. One of its most intriguing features was the Chand Minar, a tall tower built by Ala-Ud-Din Khalji. They also visited Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the "Taj of the Deccan”, the Lonar Lake which is one of the few hyper-alkaline, saline lakes in the world.
