Drama Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging drama lessons for students across different grade levels, that build their communication, confidence, expression, creativity and stage presence
- Teach techniques in acting, directing, voice modulation and stagecraft
- Organize and direct school plays, skits, and annual productions while preparing students for performances, competitions, and cultural events
- Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing Annual Day productions
- Foster students’ appreciation for theatre history and dramatic literature, introducing them to notable playwrights and works
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and disciplined learning environment
- Stay up to date with new teaching methods and theatre trends to keep lessons fresh and interesting
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Theatre Arts, Performing arts or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching drama in a school setting (boarding school experience preferred), with proven experience in theatrical productions
- Proficiency in stage production techniques, including lighting, sound and set design
- Familiarity and experience with a variety of theatre styles and traditions
- Strong background in theatre history and dramatic literature

Emotional Health Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emotional Health Counsellor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing effective individualized counselling sessions tailored to the needs of students.
- Delivering one to one counselling in a scientifically robust manner.
- Conducting psychological assessments to identify student needs and developing interventions.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of work undertaken with each student.
- Fostering a safe and supportive school environment by providing group counselling sessions.
- Conducting workshops on relevant topics like emotional regulation, resilience, digital wellbeing, and effective coping strategies.
- Working with students with diverse profiles including those experiencing challenges with attention, emotional regulation, social interaction, and learning difficulties.
- Supporting students in managing stress, anxiety, peer pressure, and academic challenges.
- Working closely with teachers and staff to address student behavioral concerns.
- Guiding teachers on managing diverse classrooms and recognizing psychological distress in students.
- Creating a safe inclusive boarding culture that promotes belonging and respect.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, or Clinical Psychology
- Certification/licensure in counselling (as per regulations)
- Proficiency in delivering theoretically driven and scientifically informed psychological therapies
- Proficiency in psychodiagnostics and experience in using standardized psychological assessments
- Experience in working with children/adolescents in residential or school settings
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized special education plans
- Expertise in adapting the curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessments to meet varied learning requirements
