Executive Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Personal Assistant to the Principal to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), sound judgment, strong attention to detail, technological proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic boarding school environment. This role demands maturity, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to represent the Office of the Principal with professionalism and poise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Principal’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel schedules
- Serve as a key liaison between the Principal and staff, parents, students, alumni, Board members, and external stakeholders
- Prioritize and manage internal and external communications, emails, phone calls, and visitor requests
- Draft, review, and edit official communication, speeches, reports, presentations, and official documents
- Prepare meeting briefs, background notes, and supporting documentation for internal and external engagements
- Record minutes of meetings accurately and track action points to ensure timely follow-up
- Coordinate and set up Board of Governors’ meetings, sub-committee meetings, and other official meetings including preparation of agenda papers and documentation
- Oversee protocol, hospitality, and logistics for visiting dignitaries, official school events and functions
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Ensure records, reports, and institutional documents are systematically archived and easily retrievable
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
- Support strategic projects and institutional priorities as assigned
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
- Uphold institutional values and maintain strict professional boundaries
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar administrative role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with digital collaboration platforms
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting senior leadership, Heads of Institution, or Board-level executives is highly desirable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred)

Bharatnatyam Teacher

The School seeks a dynamic individual who can inspire creativity, instil discipline, and foster a deep appreciation for Indian classical dance among students. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with an engaging teaching style and a commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Bharatnatyam.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Bharatnatyam as an academic subject up to Class 10 in accordance with ICSE curricula.
- Plan and conduct engaging classes focusing on both theory and practical aspects.
- Train and mentor students for in-house performances, inter-school competitions, cultural events, and external examinations.
- Contribute actively to the boarding school environment, taking on responsibilities beyond classroom teaching as required.
- Stay abreast of evolving trends in classical dance pedagogy and participate in professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Music, Theatre, and other Arts faculty on interdisciplinary projects.
- Conduct workshops and contribute to the School’s cultural life.
Qualifications and Competence:
- Postgraduate degree in Bharatnatyam or equivalent certification from a recognised institution.
- Strong foundation in Bharatnatyam technique, theory, and repertoire (adavus, abhinaya, nritta, and nritya).
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a school setting; experience in a boarding school is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
