The Ms Linnell Memorial Service, honouring the 54th death anniversary of Ms Linnell was observed on 8th May by the staff, both former and current, and students. The solemn service, conducted around Ms Linnell's grave and the Prayer platform, began with a speech by the Principal, Ms Vibha Kapoor. Ms Kapoor read out several extracts from ‘A Teacher's Tale’ by Khatija Akbar, a book dedicated to the extraordinary life of Ms Linnell. Mrs Kapoor ended her speech by urging Welhamites to honour and continue her legacy and follow her footsteps to become women of integrity and compassion. In true secular spirit, students sang hymns, shlokas, and bhajan as well as a reading from the Holy Quran. Dear Ms Linnell, the school is forever indebted to you, and you continue to live in our hearts!
