The WGS contingent comprising 16 students dazzled everyone at the 4th Uttarakhand state Open Yoga Championship 2024, held on 28th April 2024 in Dehradun. Our team was awarded the trophy for “Unique and extraordinary performance in Yoga 2024”. In addition, our students won the following positions:
• Ritisha Jain, Tvisha Nagalia, Tamanna Angel Bowen, Uma Rawat, Aadrika Mittal, Siyona Agrawal won 6 silver medals for their team performance.
• Yashita Jain won a gold medal in 14-16 individual category.
• Pranya Dua won a silver medal in 14-16 individual category.
The event was organised by Yoga Association of Uttarakhand. (YAU) which is affiliated with Yoga Federation of India, Asian Yoga Federation, International Yoga Federation and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India. Congratulations team!
