Praggya Surana (Orioles, Batch of 2010) has been granted one of the limited fully funded positions by the International Law department of Graduate Institute of Geneva. The Graduate Institute boasts of such alumni as Kofi Annan(ex Secretary General of UNO)! Praggya researches international law and geopolitics. She is currently an Assistant Professor at OP Jindal Global University and a PhD candidate in international law at the Graduate Institute, Geneva. She completed an undergraduate law degree from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School. She has previously worked at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, a think tank associated with the Indian army and been a fellow at Kolleg-Forschungsgruppe - International Law: Rise or Decline, Berlin.
