Twelve students from Welham Girls’ School participated in the 15th edition of the Doon School Model United Nations Conference (DSMUN) held from 18th to 20th of August, 2022. The theme of this conference was “Libertas Securitas Justitia” (Liberty, Safety, and Justice). More than 450 delegates from different schools participated in the Conference. The delegates from our school were able to leave a considerable mark in almost all the committees. Shalini Kottapalli and Myrah Sahni were adjudged as the Best Delegate in their respective Committees. Inayat Grewal was adjudged the Most Outstanding Delegate, Vanshi Agarwal and Himanshi Gupta received an Honorable Mention. Vidya Jhamb received a Verbal Mention. The Conference was an enriching experience that introduced the delegates to a wide range of global challenges and facilitated in them the skill of negotiation, research, public speaking and problem-solving through cooperation.
