A delegation of 12 students participated in the 9th Edition of the Welham Boys' School Model United Nations Conference held from 3rd to 5th August, 2023. Additionally, two students participated in an event called Kamera Obscura, which was held under the umbrella of WELMUN. This year's conference theme was ‘Transcending Conflicts to Transforming Conundrums.’ There was a total delegation of 315 students from approximately 27 schools. Our team performed extremely well! In the United Nations Historic Security Council Ishaani Bhatia, and Ritigya Aggarwal received the Outstanding Delegate Award, Vidya Jhamb and Khwaish Aggarwal received the award for the Outstanding Delegate Award in Disarmament and International Security Committee, Tarushi Uppal received the award for the Outstanding Delegate in United Nations Women. Twisha Choudhary and Aarisha Jain received Honorary Mention in International Press Corps and Special Political and Decolonisation Committee. respectively. Shreem Mighlani and Anagha Goyal received verbal mention in their respective committees. Vani Chachra and Bhavya Sangal secured the second position in the event Kamera Obscura. Congratulations!
