Six students of Class 9 visited to Germany from 7th April -17th April’24 to participate In the Round Square Conference at Landheim Ammersee, Germany. The students embarked on a preconference tour from 8th -11th April ’24 to Zurich, Stuttgart and Munich., which was followed by the conference from 12th -16th April ’24. The students explored Zurich, Munich, Interlaken, Rhine falls, the Alps and also the BMW and Mercedes Benz museums. Towards the end they attended the conference in Landheim Ammersee, Germany, which was centered around the generalized theme-DEMOCRACY. There were several key-note speeches, baraza sessions, workshops and activities like art workshop, mock election and treasure hunt. The visit to the concentration camp, Dachau and Virtual interaction with the survivor, Nick Hope, was very engaging and a heart-wrenching experience. The students also had the privilege of staying with German families and experiencing their culture from close quarters.
