Welham Girls’ School organized the 6th WGS Diamond Jubilee Invitational Basketball Tournament for girls from 2nd to 4th September 2024.
Seven Schools participated in this Tournament including Pathways World School, Gurugram, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, Scindia kanya Vidyalaya, Woodstock School, Mussoorie, ‘Welham Whites’ & ‘Welham Blues’. Welham Girls’ School (Blue Team) won the 6th Welham Girls’ School Diamond Jubilee Invitational Basketball Tournament 2024. In the final match held on 4th September Welham Girls’ School (Blue Team) beat Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai by 43 – 32 points .
Saira Kaur Mann from Welham Girls’ School was declared the highest scorer with 16 points and Khushi was the highest scorer from Motilal Nehru Schoo of Sports, Rai with 13 points. The Most Valuable Player of the Tournament Prize was awarded to Saira Kaur Mann of Welham Girls’ School.
